Make Money Online with Your Own E-book

E Books No Comments »

Everyone wants to make money online these days.  Making money online is the perfect solution to getting rid of that tiresome 9 to 5 job.  The trouble is that most people don’t know how to go about making enough money to be able to quit that daily grind job.  In order to give up your present job, you need to have a product that sells and gives you enough money to live on and pay your existing bills.

One good way to make money online is to write and sell your own e-book.  E-books sell like hot-cakes on the web today…and if your e-book really takes off you could stand to make a lot of money.

Don’t know what an e-book is?  Well it is really just a book that can be downloaded to your computer.  It isn’t a hard copy that you hold in your hands, but a book that is read on your computer screen.  Today, they even have special e-book readers as well that you can carry along with you that enables you read your e-book on your commuter train, at the cottage or anywhere else you choose.

E-books come in every subject imaginable.  You can get the old classics on e-books. You can get children’s e-books, or how-to books, or e-books on how to make money.  The point is that e-books on every and all topics sell well.  So that this is one area you can make money online—by putting together an e-book on a subject you choose and selling it.

The topic or subject of your e-book should be something you know about and are interested in.  As mentioned, e-books on every topic sell well so choosing the topic for your e-book is as easy as searching through your hobbies and interests.  Do you like collecting dolls?  Write an e-book on some aspect of doll collecting.  Are you an expert at canoeing? Write an e-book on your wilderness canoeing adventures, or possibly on how to get the perfect canoeing stroke.  Maybe you like to find out about various money-making ideas.  Write your e-book on that.  The point is that you should write about what you know in order to present relevant information for your readers.

Just to give you an idea, some hot topics for e-books are:  diet e-books, money-making idea e-books, travel e-books, website marketing e-books, and how-to e-books.

You may be intimidated by the thought of having to write any book at all, even an e-book.  You shouldn’t be.  Writing e-books is a simple affair if you have any writing skills at all.  All you really need to do is take it in small steps.  Make an outline of the topics you want to cover in the e-book and write a 400-600 word article about each of your subjects.  You will find that doing it in steps that way, you will have a fair sized e-book written in no time flat.

If you do not have any writing skills or you find you don’t have the time to write the e-book, you still create an e-book to sell.  You can buy PLR and string together PLR article packages on your subject to create an e-book.  Or you can hire a writer to write the book for you.  Of course, this may cost you a little more money than writing the book yourself, but you can offset the price you pay to have it written with the sales of your e-book.

Creating and selling an e-book is a great way to make money online.  Creating one e-book and selling it hundreds (or thousands) of times can make you a lot of money.  Try writing an e-book today and see how quickly you may be able give up your day job.

5 Great Reasons For Writing An E-Book

E Books No Comments »

How many times have you downloaded an e-book and then resisted the urge to delete it? Well, there are many ebooks on the net which are poorly written and have no depth of research. They are just an amalgamation of hastily composed articles which have hardly any bearing on the subject. But then, if you have the knack of understanding what exactly is needed in an e-book, what is preventing you from writing one? Surely, you can do a good job of it. And what`s more? You can make your own publishing unit and earn a substantial amount from it.

1. A simple task:

If you own a computer, then you can very well write an e-book. You either have all the tools needed on your computer or you can easily obtain them for no extra cost. You will surely need a word-processing software and the ability to convert it to PDF format on your computer. Otherwise, you have the option of downloading Open Office, which is the free version of MS Office. After that, you can unleash your creative talent and let your hands do the talking. You can write on any subject which you are passionate about and which will give you satisfaction. Then you can convert it to PDF format and you have this book ready to be read by millions on the net.

2. Control over your work:

Since this is your own creation, you have complete rights over it. You can decide to place it anywhere on the net and use it however you please. If you have a website, then you can use this book as a means of promotion. By writing on the products and services you provide, you can drive targeted traffic to your site. Deciding to sell your e-book is another good idea but don`t forget to include with it the right to resell your product. In fact, there are many ways in which you can use your book. And all of them are very useful and profitable.

3. Recognize your talent:

When you write about a subject, you will of course gain a lot of knowledge on it. You may already have a lot of proficiency on the subject before writing it. People will look up to you for guidance and information on the niche topic you are writing on. If you make the first e-book a successful venture, then you can continue the trend and deliver more and more ebooks on the topic. An e-mail list will help you to tabulate the people you need to contact and also update the list of people waiting for the next installment.

4. Make some profit:

Now that you have done all the hard work, it is time to get some revenue for it. Get in touch with people who will sell your e-book. You can sell them the book giving them the rights to resell it again. In this way, both of you will get returns from it. Thus your capability will be transformed into money. The commission that you get will prove to be a boost to write the next ebook.

5. Create a regular business:

Now that you know your expertise, you can churn out more and more e-books which will serve to be a great source of steady income for you. And before you know it, writing ebooks will be both a joy and your avenue to assured money.

Thus, writing an ebook can be fun and extremely profitable too. It is easy and will turn your passion into one of the best sources of income for you. So get ready to write an e-book and laugh all the way to the bank.

Information Products- 7 Tips to Create Your Own Audio Information Product

E Books No Comments »

Creating information products can be one of the easiest ways to make money online and earn a profit from in a short period of time. Information products can come in many forms from e-books, short reports, teleseminar, video content and the list continues to go on. Information products can be sold as by itself or it can be a series of either format bundled together as a physical product or digital to be downloaded online.

The very fist time I did an information product it was in audio form. I interviewed a guest on the topic of Pr campaigns and ending using it on my main site and then selling it as a back-end product to an e-book. Creating products in audio is one of the easiest ways you can go about producing information in a format to sell.

I will show you how you can create your own audio information in a short period of time.

1.Create and Outline - outlines help you to organize your work and give you a feel for what you are going to ask the guest and help the over all call information to be delivered in a timely format. Be sure to have bullets and sub points for the information. Make sure that you prepare ahead of time to know if you will talking yourself or interviewing a guest.

2.Prepare for the Call- Be Sure to have the proper equipment, you can a head set to record the call, or you can even use your own phone and use a third party system to record the call and upload later on to a conference line. Make sure to have land line to avoid call interruptions from mobile phones.

3. Know your topic ahead of the time and make sure you know who you are going to interview; it makes the hour or half hour easier. If you do not have a guest look for someone in your niche and send them email and offer the opportunity for more exposure to be on your show or teleseminar call.

4.Always be sure to try to keep the call personable as possible, try to keep it in a conversational manner because both parties will be comfortable.

5.Let your guest know that there will add benefits for coming on your show like inbound links, and exposure for them. Anybody can do this.

6. Just do it and don’t worry to much all the information that goes into creating your own product, the main thing is to just get started.

7.Then when the whole audio is finished you can re-purpose the product and have it transcribed and then turned into an e-book!

Writing an eBook

E Books No Comments »

Have you ever thought about writing a book but always felt there were too many hurdles to get over in order to get it published? An eBook is a great way to get your book published, quickly and inexpensively.

If you’ve got a subject that you feel you own, writing an eBook is a great way to capitalize on your knowledge. Don’t think you know enough about a particular subject to write an eBook? Think again. The more you examine your life and your experiences, chances are you will find that you know quite a bit about a number of subjects. Have you ever started a group? It could be an investing, networking, playgroup or book group. Maybe you’re a great gourmet cook with some original recipes or mom who has years of experience homeschooling your children. I’ve never met a mom who wasn’t something of an authority on at least one subject.

Okay, so you’ve got something to write about. This is a great first step. Now there are two key components you must look at to determine if writing an eBook is something you should pursue.

First, do you have a solid grasp on a topic that people are willing to pay to read about? You may be an expert on growing a rare tropical plant, but if there is not a large enough audience looking for this information, your sales will be disappointing. To see what the current trends are, go to Googletrends. See what current trends are a match with your own area of interest and knowledge. Why make this harder for yourself than it has to be, pick a topic that people are searching for information on.

The second key component is marketing. You can write an amazing eBook, but without aggressive and decent marketing nobody is going to find you. It is important to be realistic about this next phase. Marketing any product on the internet takes a lot of hard work and persistence. Which is not to say that you cannot do this, you can, you simply need to be prepared to put the time in. There is nothing worse than getting excited about an idea, investing hours of your precious time,  only to realize that there was so much more to the project than you anticipated. I know I’ve gone down this road a few times and I think it’s important to know the full scope of any project one is about to take on.

If you’re a decent writer, you’ve got somewhat of an edge. If not, don’t worry there are plenty of resources out there to help you get your ideas organized and down on paper. One of the best eBook resources that I have found on the internet is “How to Create Your Own Information eBooks” by Monika Mundell. This a free, downloadable pdf and it is chock full of essential information on writing a successful eBook. Monika covers:

  • The research process
  • Essential tools for writing an eBook
  • Getting your ideas down on paper and assembling your notes
  • Creating your eBook
  • Converting your eBook in to a pdf
  • Marketing your eBook

This is a valuable resource for anyone interested taking a stab at writing their own eBook. I would recommend downloading and reading it thoroughly if you are even considering delving into the world of eBook writing.

How to Write an eBook to Sell

E Books No Comments »

Writing an eBook is an excellent option for many writers and business owners. The internet is the perfect venue for sharing your expertise with interested people. It provides a market of potential buyers in the millions. All you have to do is write your eBook and then make it available on a website that will reach your market.

Learning how to write an eBook to sell is not as difficult as it sounds. It takes work and some writing ability like any other publication. One of the things that most people do not understand is that writing and publishing is a craft like any other. It requires time, practice, effort and persistence. But if you have knowledge on a subject to share, it is very doable. Enlisting the help of an editor along the way may be helpful as well.

The first step in writing an eBook to sell is to organize your thoughts. Sit down with a piece of paper and pencil (or computer and word document) and brainstorm your ideas. If you don’t already have a general idea, begin by making a list of everything you know something about and that interests you. If you are going to write a whole book on a topic, it will be very helpful to enjoy what you are writing about and be willing to do any research that is required. If you truly enjoy the topic you are writing about, the book will be better.

After you have selected a few topics, do some market research on each topic to see which one is most popular. Find a website that offers a keyword search and see if the keywords in your topic provide good search results. Google ad Words: Keyword Tool is one such site, and, freekeywords.wordtracker.com is another. Searching keywords can also help you focus your topic in a way that will reach the largest audience. Once you have nailed down a general topic that people want to know something about you are ready to create an outline.

An outline makes writing an eBook a more manageable. For instance, if you were going to write an eBook about writing an eBook, you would begin by asking yourself what are all the things I would want to know about writing an eBook? Put these concepts in a logical order and you have your chapters. Take your topic and do the same thing.

Next, take these chapter headings and break them down into subtopics. Once you have sketched out your book is this way you will have an outline for your eBook, and are ready to being the writing process. For most people, coming up with the outline is the hardest part.

Begin writing your eBook in whatever word document you feel comfortable using. It doesn’t matter what it is because you will convert it to a PDF document for publication. Using your outline, begin to write out each chapter of your book. It is okay to make changes to the chapter topics or order of the chapters as you go. Often the writing process helps you flesh out your topic and get a better handle on how it should be presented in the final eBook. Use the outline as a general guideline.

After you have completed writing your eBook, edit it thoroughly. You may wish to enlist the help of a professional editor at this point to make sure that spelling, punctuation and sentence structure is as perfect as possible. You will also want to format it in an attractive book type format. These two things will give your eBook the look and feel of a professional book and enhance its long term sale-ability.
