You’ve Written Your E Book and Now It’s Time to Publish It

Main Content 1 Comment »

Hello Fellow Students

During the past few weeks I have been busy working in my businesses and doing all I can behind the scenes to bring to fruition the publishing of my ebook on How To Publish An Ebook.  Garry Parkes has published the 3rd Edition of his PPP and as usual it is absolutely awesome.  He really is an inspiritation!!

After some crazy times, challenging trials and lengthy delays due to ice storms, loss of power and a Christmas break in between I am pleased to say that by the end of next week you wil be able to download your very own copy of How To Publish An Ebook.

I see that many of you have been really busy with the video competion so best of success to all that have entered.  Unfortunately time has not permitted for me to learn about videos, let alone enter a competition!!!

There will also be a new article going up for those of you who are interested so stay tuned.  This one is going to be a little different in flavour, but none the less valuable to all who read it.  One thing I will say is that, being a writer, I can write about anything and it is still relevant to my site!!!

See Ya

Learning This Little Secret Will Save You Loads of Money and Time

Main Content 26 Comments »

Hello All

Welcome to another year!  May 2009 bring you all the success that you hope and wish for.  It’s great to be back after taking a well earned break.

Issue 2 of Garry Parkes Newsletter will be published tomorrow so be sure to get your copy.  You will find loads of interesting things to help you grow your online business in 2009.  In support of Garry’s efforts I have contributed a series of articles that will be published over the next 5 Issues so be sure to be on the look out for those.

If you are serious about having your copy rate in the world of online information marketing then be sure to make a point of visiting my articles section to read How Too Create A Solid Chapter Outline.

This little known strategy is sure to help you if you are looking for guidance and support in learning how to structure a successful Chapter Outline so that you can get an e-book written.   If that is you, then How Too Create A Solid Chapter Outline is an absolute must read.

Benefit yourself today by creating an e-book that is jam packed full of valuable content so that you have your readers coming back for more of your winning way with words

Let me know what think of this Article.  I would love to hear your feedback.  How Too Create A Solid Chapter Outline will teach you what is required to do exactly that!

By taking the time to create your Chapter Outline, you will learn that it is much easier to stay focused whilst maintaining a high level of clarity as you progress further and further into the writing of your e-book.  Often times, we have so much that we want to share with our readers, that we tend to loose track and go off focus, which means that it is all to easy to end up with an e-book that is all over the place, making it difficult for your readers to actually follow your train of thought.  Believe you me, as a ghost writer  I have seen e-books just like that and I have worked on re-writing them!

Avoid the pitfalls and traps by reading this very informative article and save yourself time, money, and most of all, loads of frustration.

Dying Cats and Intensive Care Hospital Departments!!!

Main Content 23 Comments »

Hi there Fellow Students

Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for your entire well wishes and kind words during this past week and half.  I have truly had my hands so full running back and forth Melbourne, which for those of you who don’t know is a very big city, visiting this little love of my life.

Rosie girl was actually hospitalize nearly an hours drive from where I live at the biggest Animal Hospital in the Southern Hemisphere.  The name of this hospital is Lort Smith.  At one stage the specialists were planning to send her to the ‘specialist animal hospital’ which would have meant I would have been traveling 1.5 hours one way just to see her each day.

Anyway, that didn’t happen and I am absolutely over the moon to tell you all that Rosie Girl is now back home with me, being spoiled rotten as she so rightly deserves!!! Emma BoyCat and Jackie Boy meow continuously and Mollie and Lizzie wag their tails and run around happily.

It is believed that Rosie Girl may have been bitten by a snake, however the intensive care unit say it is very hard to know because of the time lapse in getting her to hospital.  For now, she lays quietly under my bed for the better part of each day, having been told that she is not allowed outside or near the rest of her brood for another 2 – 3 weeks because she is still very weak.  I am pleased however, to be able to say that she is no longer paralyzed and that she is just beginning to totter again like a new born kitten!!!

She has lost quite a considerable amount of weight, and doesn’t seem so interested in her food, but all in all I thank God daily for not taking her from me.  She shows no great interest as yet in wanting to be near her brood despite the constant calls from Emma BoyCat and Jackie boy, so I am monitoring her very closely as I work in my office.

When I am out I have organized with a neighbor to do 2 hour watches on her, so she is getting the best of care and there can be no doubt that this cat of mine is thoroughly spoiled and loved to bits!!!  Mind you, any sign of deterioration and she is to be rushed straight back to the hospital via the animal ambulance!

Once again, thank you to all who have loyally followed the antics of Rosie Girl, Emma BoyCat, Jackie Boy and my Girls, Mollie and Lizzie.  You can catch up with the rest of the story by reading the thread where you will learn about the ongoing repercussions from Mum because I destroyed the kitchen creating utter chaos so that I could get Rosie Girl out from underneath the kitchen cupboards.

You can also look forward to my forthcoming Article Series which you will find in my Article’s Section, and which will be run in conjunction with Garry Parkes newsletter.  I guess one thing can be said and that is ‘there’s always a story to be told’!

See Ya

Split Second Plans To Help You Overcome An Emergency

Main Content 46 Comments »

Hello Fellow Students and welcome to this post on Emergencies and Plans.

During the past couple of days I have receive many comments to my blog, for which I thank you all, however an unforseen emergency has taken me away from my commitments to Alex Jeffrey’s course these past couple of days. This post is a little lengthy, however I have decided this is the best way to respond to all comments made during the past 48 hours.

In lieu of this emergency I have done 2 major things to overcome this. Post this blog and write an article on Emergencies and Plans.  What’s the point of letting a good opportunity pass me by?   Emergencies happen and addressing this situation in the form of an article is something that can help all of you.  So head on over to my Articles section and you can read that entry there.

For those of you that have been following my journey, you will know that I have talked to you all about Emma my boycat.  Normally it is my mischievous little boycat that is always into some sort of antic or another, however this time it is not my he/she cat that has been up to tricks.

This time it was her mother Rosie Girl that saw me furiously working my mobile phone until I just about wore the numbers of the keypad!!   Rosie Girl had burrowed herself up under my kitchen sink so that I could not reach her.  She did not appear for her usual breakfast and as the day progressed I was niggled that she had not appeared.  I knew that she was burrowed up under the sink because she had done this before, but what I did not know was that was sick, hurt and injured…..that is until I went looking for her some hours after she still had not eaten her breakfast.

Anyway I will finish the story later.  It has been a long day with my kitchen being destroyed to get her out and an emergency trip to the hospital.  For now, let me address your comments Fellows Students.  You see part of emergency planning means thinking outside the square so I decided that I would post a blog to address ALL comments that have come in over the past 48 hours.

In Answer to New Fellow Students Visiting My Site

Answers to Remaining Comments from Fellow Students

Nigel Yip……My visit to the beach didn’t eventuate.  As for my glasses;   Man are they funky!!!  Just like Cols.  They are colourful, unique and lots of fun, so I hope you don’t mind Nigel that I decided to not go for the Glass Geek look.  Ha ha h

Gary Simpson… I’m watching you!!  Telling me that you like my writing isn’t going to win me over completely you know.  And saying that you are getting your mum to write your content…..mmm…well I think you might be just trying to trick me!  So guess what……I am not going to believe you…..so there!

Austin Delaney….I guess I shouldn’t tell you that it’s currently 5am!!  I can’t help it.  That’s what commitments, focus and dedication is all about.  Rescheduling, planning and emergencies have sure thrown my timing out the window!!

Rest of Remaining Comments ..Please understand it is late, I am tired and within a few short hours I must be back at the hospital because there is more to this story and it isn’t so happy……

Rosie Girl is currently in intensive care at the animal hospital with spinal cord injury and paralysis of her hind legs.  She can not walk and the cause is unknown.  X rays have shown that she has no apparent injuries and is otherwise healthy as far as the vet can see.  She has not been hit by a car and she has not been attacked by another animal.

For now, she lays in the hospital having been given heavy pain relief. Emma boycat is looking for her mother and Jack his brother struts around as though he doesn’t have a care in the world!!  Mollie and Lizzie my two little Girl Dogs happily wag their tale as always, running around and playing games.

My tears stopped long ago, as I strongly reigned in focus and control, but fatigue is taking over so I will say good night and thank you all Fellow Students for reading this very long post if you bothered to read to the end of this journey that is not particularly one that I would call happy.

To end on a positive note, I will say that through adversity there is always opportunity and as I said earlier I chose to look at the opportunity through the emergency and quickly whipped out my training manual on SEO and continued to while away the endless hours learning and progressing as I failed forward, to quote the words of our esteemed teacher Mr. Alex Jeffreys.

Mr Alex Jeffreys Used Col’s Notes On How To Write Creative Copy!!

Main Content 21 Comments »

Can you believe it!

Mr. Alex Jeffrey’s copied my notes for today’s Module?  The Teacher’s Pet has done it again!

There I was, sitting at my desk at 3am this morning writing up an article on ‘How Too Write Creative Copy Every Time’ and blow me down if Mr. Alex Jeffrey’s addresses this specific topic on today’s Module!

Don’t tell him I said so……..BUT

Using ‘Power Words’ to write your copy will  instantly give your words a dynamic lift.  …ssscchhh.  Remember, whatever you do, don’t let Mr. Alex Jeffrey’s know the Snitch is helping you out again.

What’s even more ironic is that the reason I wrote that particular piece was because I received an email from a client requesting me to ghost-write an e-book for him.  I wanted to add some more of my authoritative work to my blog so that he could look at my ability to vary my writing styles AND at the same time know straight away that I understand what it takes to write creative copy.

I wonder.  How did that Mr. Alex Jeffreys know to copy my notes on writing creative copy?  Did that Gary Simpson tell Mr. Alex Jeffryes what I was doing?  You know what he i s like.  Always spying on what I am up to next!….mmmm..  thinking….. thinking…..thinking…..

If you are a Fellow Student that is struggling with writing, then make a point of reading this article.  You will learn a very easy strategy that will absolutely orbit your writing ability into SUCCESS every single time in the space of 3 minutes flat, literally.

Try out the strategy I write about in my article and be sure to drop back to my place (blog) and leave your comments on how you went using this.  I want to read about what you think after you have tried it out.

See Ya

Cols
